A very attractive late 19th century Welsh oak dresser and rack.
The rack has had thin pieces of wood placed in front of the original backboards allowing the piece to be safely painted without damage to the dresser itself. These panels can be re-painted to match an interior scheme, or removed entirely.
The rack sits above a three plank base with three drawers above two cupboards, each with an arched moulding. Both cupboards are deeper than they first appear, extending behind the faux drawers to the centre. Polished wooden handles to each drawer and cupboard. The rack is affixed to the top via two screws
There are some marks to the dresser top and some small knocks to the extremities in areas, commensurate with age. The whole has a great look and colour.
